Wes Schroeder

Wes Schroeder began racing Kid Karts in 2013 at the age of five with the Ohio Valley Karting Association at his home track, G&J Kartway, in Camden, Ohio. For three years he learned the basics of competitive racing in a non point’s, fun environment. In 2016 Wes advanced to the Yamaha Rookie class with great success. The following season Wes raced in two classes, finishing second in the Sportsman Briggs and Stratton LO206, and fourth in the Sportsman Yamaha, with two feature wins. 2018 was a breakout year for Wes, winning a 14 features between the Sportsman Yamaha and Sportsman LO206 classes, winning the season championships in both classes. He was honored by the Dayton Auto Racing Fans organization as one of their yearly champions for his accomplishments on the race track. Away from the track, Wes enjoys bass fishing, indoor soccer and playing the euphonium, while maintaining his honor roll status at Liberty Bible Academy.
