Cole Melancon Oklahoma City 2022 Recap

Cole Melancon confirmed this past week that surgery is not a good option for his recovery from the groin injury.  Rest and rehabilitation is the best course of action and I will continue to provide information as it pertains to his return to competition.  Cole is currently 18th in the PBR world standings with 114.16 points.

Austin Richardson Oklahoma City 2022 Recap

Austin Richardson returned to competition the best way possible, riding 2 of 3 bulls and winning his first career PBR UTB event.  Austin placed 3rd in round 1, 1st in round 2 (his second round win of the year; Rd. 2 Duluth) and while he failed to convert on his championship round bull he still outpaced the field and earned his first win.  Adding 126 world standings points Austin vaulted up to 10th overall in the PBR world standings with 230 points.  His 91.25 point ride in Round 2 was the 4th 90+ ride of his career, the top five finish his second of the year (New York City) and this was his third event championship round qualification (NYC, Duluth).

Jess Lockwood Oklahoma City 2022 Recap

Jess Lockwood went 0 for 1 this weekend and was held out of competing in round 2 due to an injury he sustained to his riding shoulder Friday night.  Jess has an MRI scheduled for this Thursday and I will update you on the results as soon as I know.  He is doubtful for St. Louis this weekend. Jess is currently 39th in the PBR world standings with 54 points.

Kaique Pacheco Oklahoma City 2022 Recap

Kaique Pacheco remained out with a free arm injury, however he is determined to make his return to competition this coming weekend in St. Louis.  Pacheco is currently 109th in the PBR world standings with 9.5 points.  When he returns he’ll have some event qualification injury exemptions to get inside the top 25, and if needed he can use his World Championship exemptions as well.

Jess Lockwood Milwaukee 2022 Recap

Jess Lockwood rode 2 of 3 bulls, qualified for his first event championship round of the season and finished 6th overall in the event.  Jess earned 25 points and improved to 37th PBR world standings with 54 points.

Kaique Pacheco remains out with ligament damage to his free arm clavicle.  Now two weeks out from the injury there is a strong possibility Kaique will return to competition this weekend in Oklahoma City.  Pacheco is currently 100th in the PBR world standings with 9.5 points.  When he returns he will have some event qualification injury exemptions to get inside the top 25, and if needed he can use his World Championship exemptions.

Jess Lockwood returned to competition and rode 1 of 3 bulls, placing in a tie for 7th / 8th in round 3.  Jess finished 22nd overall and earned 12.5 points.  Jess is currently 50th in the PBR world standings with 29 points.

Kaique Pacheco Sacramento 2021 Recap

Kaique Pacheco remains out with ligament damage to his clavicle.  He’s one week out from the injury and already has near full range of motion in the shoulder and gaining in strength.  At this time, he feels he will be able to return sooner than earlier anticipated.  I’ll keep in touch with you as he progresses through the week(s).
