The Champion Power Equipment 5500W Electric Start Tri Fuel Inverter with CO Shield® is ideal for tailgating, RVing, camping, or home backup power. It runs on gasoline, propane, or natural gas so you can choose the fuel that’s most convenient.
With a noise level of 61 dB(A), the 224cc OHV engine produces 5500 starting watts and 4000 running watts on gasoline with a run time of 20 hr. at 25% load on a full tank of gasoline. With a 20 lb. propane tank, it produces 5500 starting watts and 3600 running watts and will run for 15 hr. at 25% load. Using natural gas, it produces 5500 starting watts and 3240 running watts. The included 25 ft. NG hose kit has all you need to connect to your home’s natural gas source.
Easily monitor your power with the 5-mode Intelligauge. For added peace of mind, CO Shield® carbon monoxide auto-shutoff technology is built in.
Covered outlets include two 120V 20A household duplex (5-20R), a 120V 30A (TT-30R), and a 12V regulated automotive outlet. CO Shield technology monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide (CO), a poisonous gas produced by engine exhaust. If CO Shield detects unsafe, elevated CO, it automatically shuts off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation. Never allow engine exhaust to enter a confined area through windows, doors, vents or other openings. Generators must ALWAYS be used outdoors, far from occupied buildings with engine exhaust pointed away from people and buildings. Meets ANSI/PGMA G300 requirements.
