Kaique Pacheco Kansas City 2022 Recap

Kaique Pacheco was perfect over the weekend riding 3 of 3 bulls, highlighted by placing 2nd in the event championship round, and finishing 2nd overall in the event.  Kaique earned 89.50 standings points and is currently 16th in the PBR world standings with 223 points.  In two weeks’ time (Glendale & Kansas City) Kaique has gone from qualifying for events using his world championship exemptions (52nd in the world), to 16th in the world (+36 standings positons).  Kaique has ridden five straight bulls, and 7 of 8 since PBR Global Cup.

Kaique Pacheco rode 2 of 3 bulls; placed 2nd in round two, he won the event championship round and finished 3rd overall in the event.  With what was easily his best result of the season to date, Kaique earned 83 world points and improved his World standings position to 24th with 133.50 points.  His champ round 92.75-point score aboard Pookie Holler was his 32nd 90-point ride of his career, and highest since April 17th 2021 (94 points aboard Chiseled; Oklahoma City, OK 15 / 15 Bucking Battle).

Since snapping an 0 for 8 slump February 19th, Kaique is 10 of 15 in all levels of competition.

Austin Richardson North Little Rock 2022 Recap

Austin Richardson held himself out of Little Rock due to aggravating his previously sprained MCL in Los Angeles.  He is on track to resume competition in Glendale, AZ when the UTB tour picks back up again.  Austin remains 11th in the PBR world standings with 242 points.

Kaique Pacheco went 0 for 2 this weekend and will once again need to use one of his world champion exemptions to qualify once the UTB returns in Glendale.  Kaique is currently 51st in the PBR world standings with 50.50 points.  He will now focus his efforts on the Global Cup as he will ride for Team Brazil once again.

Kaique Pacheco continued to help his push to get inside the top 35 with a round one successful ride.  Although the score wasn’t high enough to advance into the event championship round he did earn 8 standings points and improved to 46th in the PBR world standings with 50.50 points.  He will be in the draw for the upcoming event in Little Rock.  If needed, he will use one of his 5 World Champion exemptions.

Kaique Pacheco returned to competition and went 1 for 3, highlighted with wining round 2, his first round win of the season. Kaique qualified for his second event championship round (Indy) and finished 8th overall in the event. That ride broke an uncharacteristic 0 for 7 slide dating back to the first event in Indianapolis. Kaique hadn’t seen a stretch like this since January – March of 2018 when he was marred in an 0 for 13 stretch.  He is past the shoulder injury now and feels great.  He earned 33 standings points and is currently 51st in the in the PBR world standings with 42.50 points. He has one more injury exemption to secure his place on the UTB Tour and be inside the top 25. If needed, he can use one or more of his five World Championship exemptions as well.

Kaique Pacheco remained out with a free arm injury, however he is determined to make his return to competition this coming weekend in St. Louis.  Pacheco is currently 109th in the PBR world standings with 9.5 points.  When he returns he’ll have some event qualification injury exemptions to get inside the top 25, and if needed he can use his World Championship exemptions as well.

Kaique Pacheco remains out with ligament damage to his free arm clavicle.  Now two weeks out from the injury there is a strong possibility Kaique will return to competition this weekend in Oklahoma City.  Pacheco is currently 100th in the PBR world standings with 9.5 points.  When he returns he will have some event qualification injury exemptions to get inside the top 25, and if needed he can use his World Championship exemptions.

Kaique Pacheco remains out with ligament damage to his clavicle.  He’s one week out from the injury and already has near full range of motion in the shoulder and gaining in strength.  At this time, he feels he will be able to return sooner than earlier anticipated.  I’ll keep in touch with you as he progresses through the week(s).
