Kaique Pacheco Ocala 2021 Recap

January 18, 2021

Kaique Pacheco rode 1 of 2 bulls over the weekend.  The lone ride in the opening round 1 qualified Pacheco for the first competition championship round but he was ruled out due to a concussion suffered in the qualified ride.  Kaique passed the concussion protocol Sunday morning to compete in the second competition.  He earned 7 world points and is currently 34th in the PBR world standings.

Kaique Pacheco went 3 for 3 and qualified for another event championship round, his tenth one of the season.  Kaique earned 31 standings points for his sixth place finish overall in the event.  Kaique remains third in the PBR world standings with 653.50 points, 688 points behind the world leader (one rider can earn a maximum of 1,060 points at the World Finals by winning every round and the event average, so Kaique is mathematically still in contention for the 2020 world title).

Kaique failed to convert on his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle attempt.

Kaique Pacheco went 2 for 3 and qualified for the event championship round, his ninth one of the season. Kaique earned 26 standings points for his fifth place finish overall in the event. With those points Kaique improved one position to third place in the PBR world standings with 622.50 points. Pacheco has earned points in 6 of the last 7 Unleash the Beast events.

Kaique Pacheco went 0 for 2 over the weekend and fell one place to fourth in the PBR world standings with 596.50 points.

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 2 over the weekend and earned 9 points for his 10th place finish in the event.  He qualified for the event championship round but was unable to compete with a strained hamstring he suffered the night before in the 15 / 15 Bucking Battle.  Kaique rode that bull to second place in the bonus round and earned an additional 40 standings points.  Pacheco improved to third place in the PBR world standings with 596.50 points.  The unexpected open weekend in the schedule will allow Kaique time to rest and rehab his hamstring strain, with the full intention of competing in Lincoln.

Kaique Pacheco went 1 for 3 over the weekend and earned 3.50 points for his 7th place finish in round one.  Kaique finished outside the top 15 and didn’t qualify for the event championship round.  However, he was successful Saturday night in the 15 / 15 Bucking Battle.  Kaique rode his bull to third place in the round and earned an additional 32.50 standings points.  Pacheco is currently 5th in the PBR world standings with 547.50 points.

Kaique Pacheco went 2 for 3 over the weekend, highlighted by finishing fifth in round 1, and placing second overall for the event.  Kaique earned 67 points and with that moved up three spots to 4th position in the world standings with 511.50 points.

Kaique Pacheco went 2 for 3 over the weekend, shaking off his Friday night buck off and roaring back with second place finishes in rounds 2 and 3 (the event championship round) to earn his first event win this season.  Kaique earned 100 points for the win and is currently sixth in the world standings with 444.50 points.  This was Kaique’s fourth top 5 and seventh top 10 finish of the season on the elite UTB tour.  After going winless in an injury plagues 2019, this was Pacheco’s first win since his World Championship 2018 season.
