Silvano Alves rode 2 of 4 bulls and secured his first top ten finish of the season. He placed 9th in round 1, and 5th in round 2. He qualified for his first event championship round, finished 9th overall in the event and earned 29 world standings points. Silvano improved to 19th in the PBR World Standings with 38 points.
Kaique Pacheco took one last event off this past weekend and he will be ready to begin his 2024 campaign in Manchester, NH this week. A high ankle sprain sustained on a practice bull, and then aggravated at an early October PBR Teams event has kept him from starting his season until now.
Daylon Swearingen rode 2 of 3 bulls over the weekend, placing 9th in both first and second rounds qualifying for the event championship round. Daylon finished 9th overall in the event, earned 25 standings points and improved to 14th in the PBR World Standings now with 33 points.
Eli Vastbinder took this weekend off to stay home with their new addition to the family, a baby boy born last Sunday. Mom and baby are home resting and both in great health. I believe he will be back this weekend, but that remains to be seen at this point. Eli is currently tied for 34th in the PBR World Standings.
Silvano Alves returned to competition and rode 1 of 2 bulls in St. Louis. With his lone ride in round 2 (11th place finish), Silvano earned 9 standings points and finished 17th overall in the event. He is currently 27th in the PBR World Standings with those 9 points.
Kaique Pacheco did not compete in St. Louis, and after taking one more week to prepare for the new season he is scheduled to start this upcoming week in Johnston, PA.
Silvano Alves did not compete in Tucson, and is scheduled to start his UTB season in St. Louis. But not before competing in the PBR Canada National Finals next weekend in Edmonton, AB.
Daylon Swearingen rode one of two bulls over the weekend, placing 17thin the first round Friday night. The lone ride wasn’t enough to qualify for the event championship round and Daylon finished 22nd overall in the event. He is currently in a tie with 4 other riders for 18th in the PBR World Standings with 8 points.
Daylon Swearingen battled through injuries in his 2022 World Title defense season and now he is ready for a fresh start. In an injury shortened 2023 PBR Teams season, he rode 4 of 10 bulls for Carolina. He did return for the series finale and is poised to start the new UTB season in Tucson.
