Kaique Pacheco stayed hot this past weekend riding 3 of 4 bulls and finishing fourth in the event.  Kaique had ridden 7 straight bulls and was leading the event going into the 4^th and final round.  Pacheco earned a season best 225 world standings points and he is currently 11^thin the world with 982.50 points.  

Up Next for PBR’s Premier Series:  the 25^th PBR: Unleash the Beast heads to Tacoma, WA and the Tacoma Invitational presented by Cooper Tires at the Tacoma Dome.  The 14^th stop in the 2018 season gets under way Saturday April 14^th at 6:45 PM PT and concludes with the championship round Sunday April 15^th at 1:45 PM PT.  The top 15 riders will compete in the season’s fourth installment of the 15 / 15 Bucking Battle Saturday night as well.

For the first time this season Kaique Pacheco was perfect for the weekend and earned points in all three rounds.  Kaique finished fifth in the event and has improved to 14^th in the PBR world standings with 757.50 points. 

Kaique rode his 15 / 15 Bucking Battle bull, finished 2^nd in the special round and earned 90 world points.  After ending his career worst 0 for 13 string of buck-offs, Pacheco has now ridden 5 of 7 and is slowly getting back to the consistency he has showed in his PBR career to date.

Kaique Pacheco broke a career worst 0 for 13 slump Friday night when he covered his first attempt of the weekend.  Unfortunately, he failed to follow that ride up with another Saturday or Sunday and Kaique currently sits 21^st in the PBR world standings with 492.50 points.

Re: Iron Cowboy in Arlington, TX results

More than 46,000 fans packed AT&T Stadium, making the 2018 Iron Cowboy the largest single-day event in PBR history.  The previous high attendance at the venue came at the inaugural event in 2010 with a crowd of 31,651.  Street and Smith’s Sports Business Daily recognized the PBR’s ticket sales efforts this morning.

Kaique Pacheco went 0 for 1 and failed to move on to round 2.  He is currently 16^th in the PBR world standings with 492.50 points.

It was announced over the weekend that Kaique has qualified and will compete for Team Brazil in the second leg of the inaugural PBR Global Cup at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on June 9-10.

By invitation based on his 2017 final standings placement, Kaique competed in The American Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.  He went 0 for 1 and failed to move on to the championship round.

Up Next for PBR’s Premier Series:  the 25^th PBR: Unleash the Beast moves to Arlington, TX for the WinStar World Casino and Resort Iron Cowboy, powered by Kawasaki at AT&T Stadium.   The eighth stop in the 2018 season is a single day event, Saturday February 24^th at 5:50 pm CT.  The second PBR Major of the season is a progressive-elimination format competition.  Each of the Top 35 bull riders in the 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast as well as five Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour winners will ride one bull in Round 1.  If a rider successfully covers his bull, he will advance to the next round.  If he gets bucked off, he is finished. Through a minimum of two, and a maximum of five rounds, these athletes will continue to ride until one cowboy prevails and is declared the Iron Cowboy for a $100,000 payout.

CBS Sports Network will air Inside the Majors at 10:00 pm ET; a pre-show dedicated to the second PBR Major and follow that with rounds 1 and 2 beginning at 10:30 ET Saturday February 24^th.
