GRANT ENFINGER FINISHES A TRACK-BEST THRID AT ATLANTA – TAKES OVER POINT LEAD
“The inside line was definitely important on that final restart. There was no grip on the outside lane tonight, especially on a restart. I’m really proud of our guys, and this third place finish. We were up and down today – led some laps, and got shuffled back. The pit crew did a great job on pit road, and in the end, we came out with a solid finish. I can’t say thank you enough to Champion Power Equipment, Mike Curb, Duke and Rhonda Thorson – everyone that allows us to do this. Also to the all the fans who stuck it out tonight.”

GRANT ENFINGER BATTLES FROM TWO LAPS DOWN TO FINISH SECOND AT DAYTONA
“We had a good practice on Thursday, which is an important part of this deal. We showed up with good speed in our Champion Power Equipment/Curb Records Ford F-150 and man, we made it interesting there at the end. We got in that wreck there on lap 55, went a couple laps down, but never gave up, and all the cautions fell in our favor. All considering, we had good speed, and a good run there at the end. I tried to push Crafton, and felt like I could have gotten around him, but the 16 threw a big time block, and I was going to wreck him if I stayed with it. So, that’s when we got shuffled around, and just couldn’t get a good run coming to the checkers. It was a tough race, but I’m proud of everybody here behind me who helped me fight for this second-place finish tonight.”

GRANT ENFINGER FINISHES 12TH AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
“A little disappointed tonight because we’ve got to run for stage points. It just killed us in our track position. We just got held up by a lot of slow trucks at the beginning of the start, and that’s on me. We spotted everybody a straightaway or so, and just played catch up after that. I feel like we might’ve had one of the best trucks here, and we just didn’t take advantage of it. We were in position to run second or third there at the end and we just ran out of gas. It’s not really a testament to our entire year. We’ll have to go to Phoenix and win the race.”

LATE-RACE INCIDENT ENDS GRANT ENFINGER’S SHOT AT VICTORY AT TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY
“I’m proud of the truck we had here today. Overall, our speedway trucks at ThorSport Racing have got better – we had one of the better trucks here today. I don’t think we had the best one but we definitely had a contending truck. It was really good pushing, fairly good leading. It just wasn’t meant to be there at the end. I was trying to make it as wide as I can. I don’t know if he got me in the quarter panel or got me in the bumper, if I just got behind on it, it’s just a Talladega racing deal, I guess. I hate it for the No. 98 Champion Power Equipment Ford Performance guys – they deserved the checkered flag today.”

GRANT ENFINGER FACES TOUGH END TO STRONG RUN AT CANADIAN TIRE MOTORSPORT PARK
“Not quite the finish we deserved today, but our ThorSport Racing Champion Power Equipment Ford team did a great job in giving us a good truck. GRANT ENFINGER EARNS 12TH TOP-10 OF 2018 SEASON, AND FIRST CAREER NCTWS PLAYOFF APPEARANCE, AT BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY
“Overall, the whole day at Bristol was kind of up and down. There were times when we had really good speed, and there were times we were off. We ended up getting run over about half way through the race and we could never really recover after that. But overall, it was a solid effort by everyone. I’m proud of our year so far, proud of how far we’ve come since this time last year, and proud of our team getting us into the playoffs. That is something we can all be proud of, and to be proud of Thorsport Racing for getting three trucks in the playoffs. Thank you to Duke and Rhonda Thorson, Champion Power Equipment, Ford Performance, Curb Records, Protect the Harvest, and everybody that had gotten us to this point.”

GRANT ENFINGER SHOWS STRENGTH OF TRUCK AND TEAM AT MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY, EARNING ANOTHER TOP-10 FINISH
“Overall, these last few weeks have had some really solid racing and solid speed in our Champion Power Equipment Ford F-150. I feel good about the truck we brought here. We went with (Crew Chief) Jeff Hensley’s gut feeling on a few things. I didn’t quite agree with it, but he had some serious reason, and it ended up being the right decision. It’s my third time at Michigan in a truck, and this is the best truck I’ve had here. Other than the fender, I think we had the best truck here today. If we had a track position at the end, I don’t think they could have gotten around us. I’m really proud of the effort, and really proud of what we have been doing these last few months.”

TRACK-BEST FINISH FOR GRANT ENFINGER AT POCONO RACEWAY
“Overall it was a solid day for us. We we were solid yesterday when we unloaded – had pretty good speed. We were able to tune on it, and actually made it pretty good for the race today. I feel like we probably had a fourth-place truck for most of the day. We opted to get stage points, because that’s where we are in the grand scheme of things, like we’ve been doing all year, and stuck with it. We had to come back from deep in the field in that last run, really had no cautions to help us out, and it worked out for us, we were able to drive up to sixth, and I’m proud of that. Not exactly the result we were going for, but I feel like we had a good Champion Power Equipment Ford F-150 – leaps and bounds from where we were last year, and I feel like we are steady building momentum for the remainder of the season.”
