Champion’s 8500-Watt Wireless Remote Start Portable Inverter Generator with CO Shield® is your dependable power source for home backup, camping, and events.
With wireless remote start from up to 80 ft. away, the Champion 317cc OHV engine delivers 8500 starting watts for all fuel types. When using gasoline, it delivers 6500 running watts for up to 13 hours at 25% load. On propane, you’ll get 5850 running watts, while natural gas provides 5265 running watts. Clean power is yours—less than 3% total harmonic distortion (THD)—so ready for EV charging and sensitive electronics.
StartLINK provides a wired connection between your Champion portable generator and an Energy Storage System (ESS) or Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), enabling auto start/stop and 120V AC for your generator’s battery charging so backup power is always ready.
Multiple outlets–two 120V 20A GFCI household duplex (5-20R), a 120V 27.1A RV (TT-30R), a 120/240V 27.1A (14-50R), and a regulated 12V DC 8A automotive outlet–offer versatile connectivity, plus a 5-mode Intelligauge to track voltage and run time.

CO Shield technology monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide (CO), a poisonous gas produced by engine exhaust. If CO Shield detects unsafe, elevated CO, it automatically shuts off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation. Never allow engine exhaust to enter a confined area through windows, doors, vents or other openings. Generators must ALWAYS be used outdoors, far from occupied buildings with engine exhaust pointed away from people and buildings. Meets ANSI/PGMA G300 requirements.
