Austin Richardson went 1 for 3 over the weekend placing 2nd in round 1, and 7th overall in the event. Austin earned 24 points and is currently 15 th in the PBR world standings with 254 points.

Kaique Pacheco went 3 for 3 over the weekend and continued his march up the world standings, winning his 1st UTB event of the season and earning 142 points. Kaique placed 7th in round 1, shared 1st in round 2 with two other riders and won the event championship round (his 3rd and 4th round wins of the year). The event win was Kaique’s 46th career PBR sanctioned event win (25th Elite series), and first win since Deadwood PBR UTB September 2021. Kaique is currently 6th in the PBR world standings with 462 points.

Jess Lockwood received good news last week from Dr. Tandy Freeman with a positive assessment on how his shoulder fracture is healing. Jess has a follow up CT scan early this week to re-assure both him and Tandy that there are no underlying issues. Jess is currently 56th in the PBR world standings with 54 points.
Cole Melancon continues on a path to return to competition mid to late April. Rehab work consists of daily horseback riding for now and there have been no setbacks. When he returns he will have five (5) injury exemptions at his disposal to secure his place on tour. Cole is currently 31st in the PBR world standings with 114.16 points.

Kaique Pacheco went 2 for 2 in the two 15 / 15 bucking battles, placing 2nd in both rounds. Kaique earned 97 points and after Saturday night’s ride he had ridden 7 straight bulls dating back to March 13th. He bucked off his Sunday long round attempt. With his 15 / 15 points, Pacheco improved to 11th in the PBR world standings now with 320 points.
Jess Lockwood’s appointment with Dr. Tandy Freeman was moved to this afternoon from last week. The injury happened at the Oklahoma City event, five weeks ago. Jess is currently 56th in the PBR world standings with 54 points.
Cole Melancon’s rehabilitation from his torn groin is going well, and on schedule. In a follow up visit with Tandy Freeman his MRI showed no signs of regression to the actual muscle tear. It did reveal a pretty large hematoma that will need to be ‘worked out’ with specific deep tissue rehabilitation. No bull riding yet, but daily horseback training sessions for now. Cole is confident that a mid to late April return to riding is possible. When he returns he will have five (5) injury exemptions at his disposal to secure his place on tour. Cole is currently 30th in the PBR world standings with 114.16 points.
